Rosso di Montalcino DOC 2021 Tenute Silvio Nardi

Rosso di Montalcino delle Tenute Silvio Nardi comes from vineyards located between the gentle valleys of the Orcia, Asso and Ombrone, in the extraordinary panorama of Montalcino.

It is produced exclusively with Sangiovese grapes, harvested only by hand in the second half of September. After a short fermentation maceration, the must ferments at a controlled temperature of 30 ° C for 15 days. Subsequently the wine ages in wooden barrels for 12 months and for a further period in the bottle before being placed on the market.

It is characterized by an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with a decisive bouquet, with hints of ripe red fruits, enriched with pleasant spicy notes. On the palate it is warm, pleasantly soft and full. The wine is structured, with velvety tannins and a good persistence.

Perfect to accompany dishes with meat sauce, it is ideal in combination with game and aged cheeses.
