Saint-Émilion AOC Grand Cru Classé 2013 Clos des Jacobins
Description
The Bordeaux Clos des Jacobins Bordeaux Libournais Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé was born in vineyards located in the heart of the AOC Saint-Emilion.
It is produced with Merlot, Cabernt Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, harvested and selected only by hand. The must ferments for 3-4 weeks in wooden vats at controlled temperatures. Subsequently the wine ages in new oak barrels for 18 months, before being bottled.
The Grand Cru Classé of Chateau Clos des Jacobins has a ruby red color. The nose opens with an intense bouquet of red cherry and strawberry. On the palate it shows a medium-bodied wine, well balanced, with smooth tannins that accompany towards a cedar finish.
This red wine is ideal for accompanying meat dishes, especially venison. Perfect to accompany first courses and fresh cheeses.
