Description
Conte Vistarino's Sangue di Giuda dell'Oltrepò Pavese is born at the summit of Costiolo hill, on the Rocca de' Giorgi Estate, located in the municipality of the same name in the province of Pavia.
It is made from Croatina, Uva Rara, and Barbera grapes, all harvested by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature and is stopped when the desired level of residual sugar is reached.
It displays a deep ruby red color. The nose opens with a rich, delicately aromatic bouquet of floral notes recalling red rose and violet. On the palate, it is smooth and elegant, pleasantly sweet.
Serve as a refreshing aperitif; it is ideal as a dessert wine or as a companion to fruit-based dishes, especially strawberries and peaches.
