Description
This Sauternes Lur Saluces is produced by Château de Fargues, whose history dates back to 1472, when the Lur Saluces family took ownership.
The Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc grapes are vinified in wooden barrels, while the aging of the wine takes place 100% in French oak barrels for 30-36 months.
Golden yellow in color, the nose opens with aromas of honey and dehydrated fruit (apricot), beeswax and acacia flowers. The sip is powerful, decisive, with a mineral and very persistent finish.
Ideal in combination with dry pastries and very mature and blue cheeses.
