Description
Rum produced by the famous Foursquare distillery and selected to compose the Maison du Whiskey Transcontinental Rum Line, a line of selected spirits inspired by long crossings to trade rum between the New World and the old continent of the past. This rum ages for a period of 13 years, partly in the Caribbean island of Barbados and the remainder in the continental European climate, after which it is bottled "cask strenght", ie without any dilution to mitigate the alcohol content.
Characterized by a beautiful amber color, this rum has a unique and exotic aromatic range, made up of hints ranging from dried fruit to apricots, ending with ginger bread. On the palate it is full and lively, punctuated by notes of precious woods.
Excellent after a meal, it can make cocktails of the highest level.
