Sicilia DOC Insolia Serò 2014 Principi di Butera
Description
The Serò di Principi di Butera was born in the vineyards of the Sicilian company located in the municipalities of Butera and Riesi, in the province of Caltanissetta.
Made entirely from Insolia grapes, harvested well ripe and softly pressed, this wine undergoes 50% fermentation in stainless steel and the remaining 50% in wooden barrels, in contact with the yeasts until April.
Straw yellow in color, with light golden reflections, the Serò di Butera fascinates with its floral bouquet with hints of broom flowers, pear, tropical fruits and, in the end, spicy sensations, with notes of cinnamon, vanilla and white pepper. In the mouth it proves rich and deep, with a delicate and sweet spicy note on the finish.
To be consumed within 3/4 years from the harvest, this pure Insolia is well spread with fresh cheeses, fish dishes and not too elaborate white meats.
