Description

Gradiva red wine is produced by Casa Grazia, located near Lake Biviere, in the province of Caltanissetta and managed by Maria Grazia Di Francesco.

The wine is made from 100% Nero d'Avola grapes, harvested in the second decade of September. The grapes are destemmed and then vinified with a fermentation of 8 days at a controlled temperature. Aging takes place in French oak barriques and tonneaux for 12 months, ending with 6 months in the bottle.

Intense ruby red color, the nose reveals aromas of red and black fruits, as well as evident spicy notes. On the palate it is warm and structured, with a persistent finish.

Ideal wine for grilled red meats, savory soups and aged cheeses.
