Description

Chenin Blanc is one of the flagship whites of South Africa. Cape Dreams gives us its version, making wine from the fruit of the vineyards located in the Roberstone valley.

Pure Chenin Blanc, harvested at full maturity after a vegetative cycle characterized on average by sunny summers but refreshed by the winds from the southeast. The harvest is done manually and is followed by destemming, pressing and fermentation in steel. It matures for two months on the fine lees before being bottled.

At sight it is clear, straw yellow with some greenish reflections. The nose is defined by citrus, tropical fruit and melon. It also confirms the fruity tone to the taste and finishes the sip in the mineral tract. It closes in a delicate lime memory.

To be combined with a grilled fish.
