Description

The Kadette Pinotage Rosé wine is a rosé wine from the Kanonkop company produced exclusively from Pinotage grapes. Kanonkop is located in Stellenbosch, one of the most famous wine growing areas in South Africa. The story of the name "Kanonkop" is reminiscent of a cannon placed on top of Mount Simonsberg that warned farmers of the arrival of merchant ships in Table Bay, so that they could set out to barter for goods.

The fermentation of the grapes takes place in vats kept at 13 ° C, and then refined 3 months before bottling.

Pale pink in color, the nose reveals aromas of rose, berries, cherry and rose water. The sip is fresh and with delicate fruity notes.

The Kadette Pinotage Rosé is ideal in combination with roast chicken, grilled fish and quiches.
