Description
The Spier cellar is a guarantee of the quality of the wines and respect for biodiversity. 21 Gables Pinotage is the Reserve of one of the best-known red grape varieties in South Africa, Pinotage.
The grapes are harvested by hand in the vineyards near the sea. Once it reaches the final stage of vinification, the wine ages for 18 months in French, American and Hungarian barriques.
In the glass the wine is deep ruby red in color. The scent is reminiscent of black cherry, chocolate and spices, while in the mouth it presents itself with a structured sip, outlined by delicate tannins balanced by a discreet freshness.
Ideal in combination with spicy meat dishes of Asian cuisine.
