Terre Siciliane Nerello Mascalese Syrah IGT Falde 2019 Nicosia

Falde Rosso is a wide and characterful wine, the result of a blend of one of the best known Sicilian autochthonous red grape varieties, Nero d'Avola, combined in marriage with a fine international red grape variety such as Syrah.

The harvest takes place in September. After a short maceration at low temperature, the must is started to fermentation which is exhausted in 10-15 days under temperature control at 22-24 ° C. It matures in stainless steel then refines for 3-4 months in the bottle.

Ruby red with purple reflections, it recalls intense sensations of red fruit and spices on the nose which prelude to a broad, fruity and soft palate, very balanced and persistent.

Perfect with first courses with a strong flavor and grilled red meats, excellent spicy dishes as well as medium-long matured cold cuts and cheese.
