Description
The Kraken Black Spiced was born in the state of Trinidad and Tobago, obtained from pure sugar cane juice that matures in wood for 12-14 months, to which 11 secret spices are added. The name is inspired by the sea monster Kraken, resembling a gigantic octopus that, according to legend, attacked the ships of evil men that passed through the ocean while sparing honest sailors.
Very dark brown in color, almost inky, it opens on the nose with strong hints of vanilla and caramel, wrapped in a spicy trace that recalls hints of licorice and brown sugar. In the mouth it is delicate and soft, with spicy tones that fully accompany the taste experience and a mentholated trace to complete the picture.
It is perfect in cocktails or to be enjoyed alone as a meditation.
