Description

The Rosso Rosso Monteverro of the homonymous company was born in vineyards located in the Grosseto municipality of Capalbio, in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma.

It is produced with Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand in the months of September and October. Fermentation takes place naturally in stainless steel tanks and barriques, separately, parcel by parcel. Subsequently the wine ages for 24 months in almost entirely new French oak barrels.

Monteverro is characterized by an intense dark ruby red color with purple reflections. The nose opens with elegant aromas of black currant, cherry, blueberry and macerated strawberry, enriched with spicy notes. On the palate it is rightly tannic and balanced, with hints of ripe fruit and cassis.

Perfect to accompany first courses and red meats, this wine is ideal in combination with game and aged cheeses.
