Description

The Tuscany Rosso Tenuta Tignanello dei Marchesi Antinori was born in the homonymous vineyard located in the Chianti Classico area.

It is mainly produced with Sangiovese grapes and with Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, harvested and selected in the period from September 20 to October 10. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperature in oak barrels and gives the tannins greater finesse and fragrance. Subsequently the wine ages in French and Hungarian oak barrels for a period of about 12-14 months, then the different lots, vinified separately according to the variety, are assembled to create the final blend.

The Toscana Rosso Tenuta Tignanello is characterized by a red color with intense ruby violet reflections. The nose opens with a complex bouquet of spicy notes that mix with aromas of ripe red fruit, smoke and balsamic sensations. The wine is enriched with hints of cherry, plums, rosemary and licorice. On the palate it is refined and complex, with an excellent balance and an exceptional structure.

Perfect to combine with spaghetti with meat sauce and truffle risotto and delicate mushrooms, it is ideal to accompany seasoned cheeses and second courses of game.
