Luca Gardini
Beautiful citrus notes on the nose, yellow-fleshed peach, lemongrass, a touch of yellow flowers, closing with classic notes of Mediterranean maquis. On the palate, it is dense, crisp, savoury, with excellent persistence and a characteristic almond finish.

Description

The Vermentino Belguardo by Mazzei originates from the estate of the same name, located in the Maremma Toscana on the hills between Grosseto and Montiano, just a few kilometers from the sea.

It is produced exclusively with Vermentino grapes, a white berry variety that expresses itself best in coastal areas. The grapes are carefully handpicked from the end of August and allowed to ferment at a low temperature.

A white wine with character, this Vermentino presents fruity aromas on the nose, with interesting aromatic notes of yellow peach. On the palate, it is pleasantly dry and mineral, with an excellent structure and great softness.

Its features make it ideal to accompany fish soups, grilled fish, and seafood. It is also excellent as an aperitif and pairs very well with vegetable-based first courses.
