Description

The Vermentino Belguardo by Mazzei originates from the estate of the same name, located in the Tuscan Maremma on the hills between Grosseto and Montiano, just a few kilometers from the sea.

It is made exclusively from Vermentino grapes, a white grape variety that thrives in coastal areas. The grapes are carefully hand-picked from the end of August and left to ferment at a low temperature.

This is a white wine with character; the nose reveals fruity aromas with intriguing notes of yellow peach. On the palate, it is pleasantly dry and mineral, with excellent structure and remarkable smoothness.

Its characteristics make it ideal to accompany fish soups, grilled fish, and seafood. Also excellent as an aperitif, it pairs very well with vegetable-based first courses.
