Description
This Toscana Syrah was born from the historic vineyards of Villa Pillo, in the heart of Chianti.
Produced with 100% Syrah grapes, a French variety from the Rhone valley, it is aged for 15 months in Taransaud French barriques, 80% new and 20% used.
This wine has an intense garnet red color, and fruity aromas of blackberry, enriched with notes of leather and chocolate, with a hint of white pepper. On the palate it is soft and round, well balanced.
Ideal to serve with tasty first courses, such as pasta with meat sauce or in the oven, it is excellent accompanied by grilled red meat and roasts.
