Description

What kind of wine is it

Maximum Blanc de Blancs by Ferrari is a Metodo Classico sparkling wine made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes, an authentic expression of the Trento territory. Its elegant and precise profile is designed to offer a smooth and rewarding sip, where freshness and aromatic complexity are harmoniously balanced. The extended aging on the lees enriches the tasting profile and makes this label a benchmark for those seeking a vibrant sparkling wine of great clarity.

Where it comes from

This sparkling wine is made in Trentino, an area devoted to excellence in winemaking, and represents one of the first creations desired by founder Giulio Ferrari. The label encapsulates the visual identity of the Ferrari winery and displays the classic black and white colors alongside the red of the historic corporate crest. The connection with the Trento territory is expressed in every detail, resulting in a product with a distinct Alpine character, capable of interpreting the uniqueness of the soil and microclimate.

How it is produced

This sparkling wine is made entirely from Chardonnay grapes, carefully selected to offer a rigorous Blanc de Blancs expression. The winemaking process employs the Metodo Classico, with bottle re-fermentation at the heart of the process. The aging on the lees lasts for thirty-six months, a prolonged period that allows the wine to develop intense structural richness and encourages the evolution of the delicate signature aromas.

Tasting notes

In the glass, it presents a bright straw yellow color, with a defined and inviting perlage. The aromatic bouquet is intense and fragrant, intertwining clear aromas of ripe yellow fruit with more evolved notes of bread crust and hazelnut derived from the prolonged contact with the lees. The entry on the palate is fresh and satisfying, supported by dynamic citrus hints introducing a pronounced mineral sensation and leading the tasting to a taut, clean finish.

Food pairings

The pronounced freshness and remarkable aromatic clarity make this bottle an elegant aperitif, ideal for starting with light yet flavorful dishes. At the table, it finds a natural harmony with delicate spun cheese, such as mozzarella di bufala, as it easily cleanses the palate. It also works just as well with seafood dishes: when paired with a Sicilian-style octopus salad, its citrus component interacts beautifully with the texture of the dish.

When to serve it

This label proves perfect for accompanying convivial occasions when you want an immediate yet deep drinking experience. Its structure makes it ideal for opening a meal with elegance or accompanying dishes with subtle sea nuances. The Brut dosage invites serving at a fresh temperature to highlight its clean sip, thus bringing out all the flavor continuity acquired during its long period in the bottle.
