Description

What kind of wine it is

Sua Signoria di Briziarelli is a white wine produced in the Montefalco area. Classified as Umbria, it comes to life from the careful cultivation of pure Trebbiano grapes. Its character is born from two distinct production methods, as it combines a portion of dried grapes with a part vinified in the classical manner. This gives the wine a unique personality, balancing technique with expressive taste. A label with a structured profile, designed for those who appreciate an intriguing and persistent sip.

Where it comes from

The origin of this wine is deeply tied to the landscape of Umbria, particularly the renowned Montefalco area. Here, Briziarelli cultivates its vineyards, interpreting the terroir with great respect and elegance. The region's identity is reflected in every sip, telling the story of a land with a strong winemaking vocation. The characteristics of the soil and microclimate allow the grape variety to express itself at its best, ensuring perfect ripening of the grapes and a natural balance of aromatic components.

How it is made

The vinification process follows two separate paths. One part undergoes a natural drying, is pressed, and left to macerate overnight, then ferments and ages in first-passage barriques for about four months. The remaining share is gently pressed and ferments at a controlled temperature in steel tanks between twelve and fourteen degrees. This fraction rests on the lees for six months before contributing to the final blend, which is then further aged in the bottle.

Tasting notes

In the glass, it shows a fascinating straw yellow color, enriched with bright golden highlights. The bouquet is broad and recognizable, characterized by elegant scents of broom, dandelion, and hawthorn, enriched with delicate hints of thyme and saffron. On the palate, it reveals a delicate structure and lively freshness, well balanced by the aging process. The sip unfolds with a long persistence, confirming a strong consistency between the aromas perceived on the nose and the taste.

Food pairing

This structured white wine finds its best gastronomic expression when paired with white meats. Its intrinsic liveliness cleanses the palate, making it ideal alongside roast white meats or succulent grilled preparations. It pairs beautifully with roast chicken or turkey-based dishes, as it perfectly balances the natural spiciness of the dish. The wine’s texture supports dry-cooked preparations and prolongs the flavor without ever being overpowering.

When to serve it

It’s an excellent choice to enhance convivial moments, especially during lunches and dinners with well-defined menus. Thanks to its complex production, it offers a fresh yet satisfying drink, suitable for those seeking a glass able to complement the entire meal with ease. Its evolution in the glass invites conversation and makes it the ideal companion for family gatherings or for meetings around a festive table, where the harmony of flavors reigns supreme.
