Description

The Val d'Arno di Sopra Bòggina di Petrolo was born in vineyards located in the Arezzo area of Bucine, in the heart of the DOC Val d'Arno di Sopra.

It is produced with pure Sangiovese grapes, harvested and selected exclusively by hand. Fermentation takes place in cement tanks at controlled temperature, with frequent pumping over. Subsequently the wine ages for 16-18 months in French oak barrels and tonneaux, before being bottled.

The Val d'Arno di Sopra Bòggina di Petrolo is characterized by an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with elegant hints of violet and black fruits, enriched with notes of rosemary, lavender and tobacco. In the mouth it is full-bodied and deep, with delicate tannins and a pleasantly long and persistent finish.

This red wine is perfect to accompany red meat dishes and roasts.
