Description

Val d'Arno di Sopra Riserva Bòggina C by Tenuta di Petrolo hails from vineyards located in the heart of the DOC Val d'Arno di Sopra.

It is produced with 100% Sangiovese grapes, carefully harvested and selected by hand. The vinification process takes place in concrete tanks with native yeasts. The wine then ages in French oak barrels and tonneaux for 16–18 months.

Petrolo's Riserva Bòggina C has a garnet colour. The nose opens with aromas of dried violets, red and black fruit jam, enriched with notes of tobacco and spices. In the mouth it is soft and silky, with a long finish.

This red wine is perfect to accompany game and stewed red meat, grilled meats and aged cheeses.
