Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Extra Dry DOCG Bandarossa 2019 Bortolomiol
Description
The Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Extra Dry Millesimato Bandarossa di Bortolomiol is born in vineyards located on the gentle hills of San Pietro di Barbozza and Santo Stefano, in Valdobbiadene. The "red band" is the sign that the founder, Giuliano Bortolomiol, traced on the bottles of the best annual selection of Prosecco Extra Dry, reserved for his true friends who, like him, shared the passion for the land, tradition and good wine .
It is produced exclusively with Glera grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand in the second half of September. After the classic white winemaking processes, the second fermentation takes place in a steel autoclave, according to the Martinotti method, for 25-30 days, with aging of 30-90 days months on its lees.
Bandarossa di Bortolomiol is characterized by a straw yellow color and a fine and persistent perlage. The nose opens with subtle aromas of white flowers, enriched with fragrant apple notes. On the palate it is rather sweet, silky and harmonious.
Excellent as an aperitif, this Prosecco Superiore is ideal in combination with fatty fish, savory pies and foie gras.
