BWW 2022 - Best Italy Wine Critic of the World
Luca Gardini
From a well-chosen company selection of Glera in purity, a Prosecco with great gustatory tension, a nose of lychees, pineapple and green apple, then citrine thyme, brackish-dense on the palate, with crunchy drinkability and persistence. Final with a fruity return.

Description

Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Extra Dry Millesimato Bandarossa by Bortolomiol is born in vineyards located on the gentle hills of San Pietro di Barbozza and Santo Stefano, in Valdobbiadene. The "red band" is the sign that the founder, Giuliano Bortolomiol, traced on the bottles of the best annual Prosecco Extra Dry selection, reserved for his true friends who, like him, shared a passion for the land, tradition and good wine.

It is produced exclusively with Glera grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand in the second half of September. After the classic white vinification processes, the second fermentation takes place in a steel pressurized tank, according to the Martinotti method, for 25-30 days, with ageing for 30-90 days on its own yeasts.

Bandarossa by Bortolomiol is characterized by a straw yellow colour and a fine and persistent perlage. The nose opens with subtle aromas of white flowers, enriched with fragrant notes of apple. On the palate it is rather sweet, silky and harmonious.

Excellent as an aperitif, this Prosecco Superiore is ideal in combination with fatty fish, quiches and foie gras.
