Vallée de la Bekaa Rouge 2018 Domaine des Tourelles

The Domaine des Tourelles is a red wine produced in Lebanon in the Bekaa Valley and is a blend of Syrah, Cabernet-Sauvignon, Cinsault, Carignan grapes.

The grapes come from predominantly clayey soils located around 1000 meters above sea level and, after harvesting, are transported to the cellar for fermentation lasting 10 days and conducted through the use of indigenous yeasts. After fermentation, the blend is made in concrete tanks. Two years of further refinement in the bottle precede the marketing of the finished product.

Intense ruby red color with violet reflections, it opens to the nose in a compact way, with a beautiful fragrance of wild berries in jam and pleasant menthol notes. On the palate it is intense and balanced, with a correct acid tension that promises good structure and right balance. The medium-long finish guarantees a pleasant and harmonious sip.

Ideal wine for grilled or stewed red meats, it also goes well with cold cuts and semi-aged cheeses.
