Description

The Portret De Gitana is a red wine obtained from a blend of Merlot and Rara Neagra grapes, two varieties that are handpicked and selected to ensure maximum quality. The combination of these two varieties gives rise to a balanced wine rich in aromatic expression, reflecting the identity of its originating territory.

Maceration and fermentation take place in oak barrels for a period of 10 days, with spontaneous fermentation thanks to the action of indigenous yeasts. The wine then matures in stainless steel tanks, under controlled humidity and temperature conditions, ideal for preserving its freshness and structure.

In appearance, it shows a ruby red color. The nose reveals intense scents of berries and spices, while on the palate it is full and harmonious, with good structure, persistence, and soft, pleasant tannins.

It pairs excellently with flavorful first courses, grilled meats, and aged cheeses.
