Description
This Riesling Trocken is produced by the Vereinigte Hospitien company, located in Trier, the symbolic city of German wine. The winery has been producing wine since the early 1800s, from vineyards located along the Moselle and the Saar. It is the oldest German cellar, built in 330 in the Roman age and used as a warehouse. Later the building became a convent and hospital.
The wine is made from 100% Riesling grapes, traditionally vinified.
Straw yellow in color, the nose expresses aromas of peach and grapefruit. The sip is dry, with a nice acidity and a fine and light structure.
Excellent as an aperitif, it accompanies appetizers and light first courses based on vegetables and fish.
