Description
The Refosco Riserva Roggio dei Roveri of Bosco del Merlo recalls with its name the poem by Giovanni Pascoli "Arano", contained in the collection of poems "Myricae", "The last walk".
It is produced entirely with Refosco dal Penduncolo Rosso grapes, which are vinified with a maceration on the skins that lasts 25-30 days. Subsequently the wine ages for 12 months in oak barrels and 6 months in the bottle.
It is characterized by an intense ruby red color with violet hues. The nose reveals aromas of blackberry jam, prune and sweet spices such as cinnamon. The sip is warm, enveloping and long lasting.
Perfect with roasted and baked red meats, as well as game.
