Description

The Vernaccia di San Gimignano Cusona 1933 of Tenute Guicciardini Strozzi was born in vineyards cultivated on the gentle Tuscan hills. The label reproduces the original one of 1933, the year of the first bottling of this wine made by Count Pieto Guicciardini.

It is produced exclusively with Vernaccia di San Gimignano grapes, hand-picked and carefully selected, and is characterized by the presence of a small part of slightly dried grapes. The grapes are vinified at controlled temperatures and the wine is partially aged in oak barrels.

It is characterized by an intense straw yellow color, with bright golden reflections. The bouquet has floral and fruity aromas, combined with light spicy notes given by the passage in the barrel. On the palate it reveals its great structure and its full and soft taste. Overall it is an elegant wine, with a long and pleasant aftertaste.

Perfect to accompany fish soups and shellfish dishes, it is ideal in combination with white meats and stuffed vegetables.
