Description

The Lacryma Christi del Vesuvio from the Sorrentino winery is made with Piedirosso and Aglianico grapes.

The vineyards from which the grapes come are located on rich volcanic-sandy soils at an average altitude of 500 meters above sea level. After the manual harvest completed in mid-October, the grapes are fermented in steel and aged for 2 months in the bottle for marketing.

Intense ruby red in color, it has hints of red fruits such as plum, cherry, strawberry and sweet spices. On the palate it is full-bodied, dry and persistent, with good balance and the right flavor, with returns of the fruity and spicy parts.

Ideal for caprese ravioli with savory cheeses and roasts.
