Description

The Boy Grenache by K Vintners is a red wine from the Walla Walla Valley AVA, in Washington State, produced from Grenache grapes sourced from the Powerline Estate Vineyard, an elevated site with well-drained river rock, sand, and gravel soils that promote depth, balance, and expressive purity.

Vinification takes place with indigenous yeasts and a portion of whole clusters in concrete vats, followed by an extended maceration on the skins and aging on the lees in neutral French oak barrels, to preserve the fruit character and the finesse of the vineyard.

In the glass, it appears lively and smooth, with aromas of strawberry, red currant, dried flowers, fresh herbs, and subtle citrus notes, supported by an elegant texture, earthy undertones, and balanced freshness.

It pairs well with roasted white meats, herb-crusted lamb, mushroom-based dishes, and semi-aged cheeses.
