Founded in 1896 in the Scottish town of the same name, Aberfeldy Whisky is the result of the brilliant intuition of brothers Thomas Robert and John Alexander Dewar who, at the end of the century, decided to use the pure waters of Pitilie Burn for the production of a Single Malt Whisky. Even today, centuries later, Aberfeldy is the only distillery to use these waters in the processing of spirits. Simplicity, rigor, and excellent raw materials are at the origin of two fruity, clean, and elegant Single Malts, with a touch of honey and spices. The 12 Years Old is characterized by an intense golden yellow color and distinguished by a rich array of aromatic fragrances, with hints of fruit jam and honey alternating with tobacco, vanilla, and nutmeg. The 15 Years Old is perhaps the tangible manifestation of perfection, crafted in a limited edition according to the methods established around 1897 by the founders: 15 years of aging in ex-Bourbon casks followed by a further refinement of 5 months in French oak barrels previously used for Pomerol, one of the finest wines from Bordeaux.
