The story of Berlucchi intertwines with that of Franciacorta when Guido Berlucchi, a descendant of the noble Lana de’ Terzi family, and the young enologist Franco Ziliani joined forces with the original and revolutionary idea, at that time, of producing a great Italian classic method, the first in the province of Brescia. This way, and in this winery, with the 1961 harvest and the first 3,000 sealed bottles, Franciacorta was officially born.
60 years of wine history, celebrated by the line named after the year when it all began, Berlucchi '61. This line, with its fresh and colorful look, reminiscent of the fabulous Sixties, and its versions Extra Brut, Satèn, and Rosé, is perfect both in a glass as an aperitif and throughout a meal, thanks to the complexity derived from 24 months of bottle aging. The latest creations from the maison are the modern and refined Franciacorta wines of the Berlucchi ’61 Nature line, aged 5 years in the bottle and available in three different products - Nature, Nature Rosé, and Nature Blanc de Blancs. Dedicated to the most discerning connoisseurs, they allow appreciation of the nuances of the pure Franciacorta taste without the addition of dosage syrup.
