The history of Berlucchi starts when Guido Berlucchi , descendant of Lana de' Terzi's family, and the young oenologist Franco Ziliani, unite in the name of the idea, original and revolutionary at that time, of producing a great classic method in Italy. In this way and in this cellar, with the 1961 harvest and the first 3,000 sealed bottles, Franciacorta was officially born.
60 years of wine history, celebrated by the line that takes its name from the year in which everything was born, Berlucchi '61 , a line that recalls the fabulous Sixties in its fresh and colorful look and, in its variations Extra Brut (92 pt WE), Satèn (91 pt JS) and Rosé (91 pt WS) , it is perfect both by the glass as an aperitif and throughout the meal thanks to the complexity obtained from the 24 months of aging in the bottle. The latest additions to the maison are the modern and sought-after Franciacortas from the Berlucchi '61 Nature line, aged for 5 years in the bottle and available in three different products - Nature (93 pt JS), Nature Rosé and Nature Blanc de Blancs (92 pt JS) . Dedicated to the most attentive connoisseurs, they allow you to appreciate the nuances of the pure taste of Franciacorta without adding dosing syrup.
