In a breathtaking lakeside landscape lies Cà Maiol, a winery that showcases the true potential of Lugana. Best known for its eponymous white, the history of this winery stretches back generations. Over the years, it has grown to reach 110 hectares, always driven by the same goal: to demonstrate the very best of the Lugana region.
Recognised as Winery of the Year by Gambero Rosso, as part of the Santa Margherita Gruppo Vinicolo, Cà Maiol boasts a range of wines including Molin (93 points, LG), with delicate hints of tropical fruit, fresh almond and musk, which leave room for notes of mulberry and mint to finish. The Lugana Riserva Fabio Contato (4 Grappoli, Bibenda) is another highly expressive wine, with a distinctive organoleptic profile and a broad and complex bouquet, offering hints of cedar and yellow melon, enriched with slightly spicy notes of cumin and ginger. Finally, Prestige is a fresh and spontaneous wine, set apart by its delicate touch and pleasant richness, with hints of green apple, thyme and white pepper.
