Since 1880 the Pellegrino family is involved in the enhancement of native Sicilian vines by producing excellent wines in well-suited Western Sicily. The great microclimatic and morphological variety of the territory is suitable for the production of very different wines, each with their own personality, with dedicated oenologists for each type of wine.
From the entirely organic vineyards the Tareni, the cru Tripudium and the wines of the family estates are born, each one with a specific vocation: Kelbi catarratto, Rinazzo syrah, Salinaro grillo and Gazzerotta grillo and nero d'avola grapes.
Gibelè is a pure Zibibbo wine, born from the clayey volcanic soils of the province of Trapani. Straw yellow in the glass, it opens to the nose with intense floral scents of jasmine and lavender and hints of green apple and cedar. The palate is dry and fresh, extending into a long persistence.
Furthermore, the name Pellegrino is closely linked to the Moscato and Passito of the island of Pantelleria, the "daughter of the wind" due to the constant intervention of this important atmospheric agent: excellent sweet passito wines obtained from the main grape variety Zibibbo which remains to dry on the traditional "cannizzi" in the hot August sun mitigated by the fresh wind of Pantelleria.
Today and while stocks last, with a minimum purchase of €59 from this selection of wines from the Pellegrino winery, you will receive a magnum of Zibibbo Secco Gibelè for free.
