More than a century ago, two Piedmontese adventurers, the engineer Sella and the lawyer Mosca , looked at the uncultivated Sardinian nature with new eyes, fell in love with her and with her they created Sella & Mosca . Among the red wines, it is worth mentioning the two Riserva wines based on Cabernet Sauvignon Marchese di Villamarina (92 pt Suckling) and Tanca Farrà (90 pt Wine Spectator), with an elegant structure and a full, dry and harmonious sip.

But the heart of the company is none other than Alghero , and like any self-respecting Sardinian company there is no shortage of wines made from native grapes, including Cannonau, Vermentino and above all the rare and precious Torbato (90 pt Maroni, Wine Enthusiast ), which Sella & Mosca has developed in a sparkling version Brut ! Bubble with a very fine perlage, it explodes on the nose in all its aromas, which now recall the liveliness of acacia flowers and pink grapefruit, now a more aristocratic dimension of yeast and bread crust. With an interminable finish , it is the perfect complement to fried seafood.
