Located in San Vincenzo a Torri, in the Chianti subzone of Colli Fiorentini, with vineyards stretching between Montespertoli and San Casciano in Val di Pesa, through Montalcino, Uggiano is the result of a passion for Tuscan wines by a group of entrepreneurs from the Bergamo area, who incorporate the production methodology driven by the winemaker Giuseppe Losapio, trained in France. Wines with a Tuscan flavor, in the most traditional sense of the term, rich in extract and fragrances not found elsewhere, whose long refinement in oak barrels and French oak barriques allows them to best express their uniqueness and the care reserved by a select team to each individual label. Among the bottles that deserve a special mention are without a doubt the "Syrà", pure Syrah awarded 90 points out of 99 by Luca Maroni; and the Chianti Riserva DOCG with the iconic pheasant label, which in addition to being recognized with 91 points by critic James Suckling and 4 Grappoli by the Bibenda guide for the current vintage, received 3 Medals during the 2018 Sommelier Wine Awards, for critical acclaim, the excellent quality of the product, and pairing capabilities.
