The history of Fontanafredda history is a love story from another era between the first king of Italy, Victor Emmanuel II of Savoy, and Rosa Vercellana, a woman of humble origins, to whom the king granted the title of Countess of Mirafiori and Fontanafredda, naming her two sons as heirs to the hunting estate that housed the Nebbiolo vineyards located in the Serralunga d'Alba area.
Of the many wines produced, the Barolo Serralunga d'Alba is the first to mention in a selection of true excellences, while the Barbaresco DOCG Coste Rubin stands for its soft tannins and its grace on all occasions. Another excellent red wine is the Barbera d'Alba Raimonda, to be tried together with the Langhe Nebbiolo. Between white wines, you can enjoy the classic Roero Arneis, the intriguing Gavi, and the new arrival, the Colli Tortonesi DOC Timorasso Derthona. Great wines, born in one of the most astonishing regions of Italy.
