Beatesca
Beatesca is a small winery in Montalcino, Tuscany, nestled on the hills along the Strada Provinciale del Brunello, with vineyards facing the village of Pienza. The name is a tribute to the owners’ daughters, Beatrice and Francesca, and to the historic land where it was born.
The story of Beatesca begins in 1991, when Furio and Benedetta took over the estate and set about restoring an ancient vineyard that was at risk of disappearing. Since then they have worked with dedication, passion, and curiosity, respecting the balance and integrity of the place.
Together with the oenologist Roberto Cipresso they have developed an exemplary, sustainable viticulture with an ultra-low environmental impact. The modest size of the estate, perhaps one of the smallest in the area, allows for meticulous care at every stage, from vineyard to bottle.
At the heart of the production are the great local reds: Brunello di Montalcino DOCG and Rosso di Montalcino DOC, authentic expressions of Sangiovese from Montalcino.
Family passion, respect for nature, and a deep bond with the land of Montalcino make Beatesca a small artisanal gem waiting to be discovered.
