ColleMassari
ColleMassari is now a well-known name in Italy and beyond, a synonym for quality and expertise, deeply connected to the Tuscan region and its extraordinary developments. The estate, founded by siblings Maria, Iris, and Claudio Tipa, is a true "domaine" distributed over three properties: Castello di ColleMassari, established in 1998 in the Montecucco area in Alta Maremma; Grattamacco estate in Bolgheri since 2002; and, since 2011, Poggio di Sotto farmhouse, a true classic of Brunello di Montalcino.
Supertuscans and multiple award-winning wines make up the ColleMassari range, which over the years has stood out for producing both the region’s principal grape variety, Sangiovese—which finds its highest expression in Brunello Poggio di Sotto and Montecucco DOC—as well as typical French varieties present in the Bolgheri area. Grattamacco and Brunello Poggio di Sotto form the two icons of ColleMassari, collectible wines that have gained international acclaim from enthusiasts and critics worldwide.
