I Luoghi

I Luoghi is a small wine estate in Castagneto Carducci, in the locality of Campo al Capriolo, at the heart of the Bolgheri appellation on the Tuscan coast. It grew out of the life project of Stefano Granata and Paola De Fusco, who have known each other since childhood in Bolgheri and decided to embark together on an adventure entirely devoted to the vineyard.

To make it happen, Stefano left his job as an engineer, while Paola earned a degree in Oenology. In 2000 they began working on Stefano’s parents’ old property, planting the first rows of vines; today the vineyard has reached about 5 hectares.

Stefano and Paola personally oversee every aspect of the estate, from vineyard to cellar: a handcrafted approach that gives the wines a strong sense of identity and an intimate bond with the land.

Production includes two Bolgheri Superiore DOC, Podere Ritorti and Campo al Fico, and the Bolgheri Rosso DOC I Luoghi, wines that authentically express one of Italy’s most celebrated terroirs.

Passion, hands-on care and love for their land: these are the values with which I Luoghi interprets Bolgheri.
