Lunae
The name Lunae is inspired by the name of the city of Luni, an ancient Etruscan and Greek port. And the Bosoni family has always been linked to this territory, preserving its culture through care for the vineyard and the land.
In addition to Vermentino, Lunae has succeeded in introducing other indigenous Ligurian vines, such as Albarola, Vermentino Nero, Malvasia, Pollera Nera and Massareta. The commitment to respecting the territory also includes organic viticulture, cultivation of new vineyards using ancient local techniques and, above all, the use of green energy, which takes the form of photovoltaic, geothermal and low environmental impact production facilities.
Emblematic of this love for their land are certainly wines such as Vermentino Numero Chiuso, the result of a refined selection of Vermentino grapes harvested in the historical areas with the greatest vocation; or the Colli di Luni Albarola (96 pts LM) with its ample and intense bouquet of wild flowers, Mediterranean scrub and citrus fruits; or the Colli di Luni Cavagino (91 pts Wine Spectator), with its ample and persuasive fruity bouquet, characterised by notes of apple, pear and papaya that blend with balsamic and honey sensations. In the mouth it is full and vigorous, with a bewitching softness and a distinct minerality. To be enjoyed in the first 3-4 years.
