Marco Felluga
Marco Felluga is a historic name in Friuli's enology, with roots dating back to the second half of the nineteenth century in Istria. In 1956, Marco founded the namesake company in Gradisca d'Isonzo, in the heart of Collio, continuing a family tradition of winemakers. In 1967, he acquired the Russiz Superiore estate in Capriva del Friuli, considered the "Cru" of the company, characterized by the emblem of the double-headed eagle, symbol of the Torre Tasso princes.
The Marco Felluga and Russiz Superiore wineries offer a wide range of labels that reflect the richness of Friuli's Collio. Among the whites, the "Mongris" Pinot Grigio, "Iaia" Chardonnay, "Sandis" Sauvignon, "Maralba" Ribolla Gialla, and "Amani" Friulano stand out. The "Molamatta," a blend of Friulano, Ribolla Gialla, and Pinot Bianco, is renowned for its elegance and longevity. Among the reds, the "Carantan," a blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot, stands out for its structure and complexity.
Russiz Superiore, considered the "Cru" of the company, offers labels such as the Pinot Bianco Riserva, Sauvignon Riserva, and Rosso Riserva Collio DOC. These wines, produced with selected grapes and carefully aged, best express the terroir of Collio. The company philosophy, based on sustainability and innovation, is also reflected in the labels, recently renewed to enhance the identity of the wines and the territory.
