Marotti Campi
Marotti Campi is a small family-run company located in the Sant'Amico district of Morro d'Alba, where ancient hilltop villages and cultivated fields blend harmoniously into a succession of hills that go from the mountains to the sea, the true Italian countryside. Born in the mid-nineteenth century, it saw a new renaissance in 1991 thanks to Giovanni Marotti Campi, who recovered the vineyards and concentrated the production on the typical vines of the area : Verdicchio and Lacrima di Morro d'Alba . His passion for this land and for the family property prompted him to build the modern cellar in 1999 and together with his wife Francesca and his son Lorenzo they decided to bring new life and energy to this place. A courageous choice that gives life to authentic wines awarded by national and international critics such as Verdicchio Luzano (90 pt Maroni) , fresh and mineral, with fresh green notes of field herbs, chamomile and broom. Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Riserva Salmariano (90 pt Wine Spectator) has a more marked personality, which with a more mature character can also conquer connoisseurs. The company's reds based on Lacrima di Morro d'Alba are also absolutely worth trying, such as the Orgiolo (94 pt Maroni) , spicy and elegant, and the Rubico (94 pt Maroni) , lively and fruity, perfect for sharing.
