It seems that the diffusion of Barbera grapes in the Langhe dates back to 1685 and gradually reached the success that today sees them interpreting the soul of excellent Piedmontese wines alongside the highly celebrated variations of Nebbiolo such as Barolo and Barbaresco. Freed from a 'popular' classification, the Barbera grape has been able to meet its rightful destiny thanks to a pronounced acidity, an aspect that makes wines conceived with this blend suitable for ageing.

Piedmontese red grape, it has quite large and heavy bunches with dark, blackish blue grapes, producing a wine with very particular and recognizable characteristics. Ruby red in color with violet reflections, it expresses intense and decisive aromas on the nose, with vinous notes and fresh aromas of ripe red fruit, violets and spices : the acidity dominates the sip, giving overall sweetness but also giving softness and more character with a refinement that always makes it versatile and pleasantly persistent.
