Barolo DOCG is one of the most famous Italian wines in the world . It is made with 100% Nebbiolo grapes in the municipalities of Barolo, Castiglione Falletto, Serralunga d'Alba and partly on the territory of the municipalities of Monforte d'Alba, Novello, La Morra, Verduno, Grinzane Cavour, Diano d'Alba. Cherasco and Roddi.

The denomination may be followed by additional geographical indications on the label, which can be traced back to particularly suitable areas, known as "vineyard Crus". The DOCG Barolo offers a wide panorama of crus that vary according to soil, climate, exposure, altitude; to name a few of the most famous and popular ones: Cannubi, Cerequio, Lazzarito, Villero, Bricco delle Viole, Terlo, Paiagallo, Bussia, Liste, Serralunga d'Alba .

The minimum aging period for Barolo DOCG is 38 months (18 in barrels) and 62 months (as well 18 in barrels) for the Riserva. Barolo is a wine of great personality and charm that combines power and elegance. with an incredible ageing potential.

As for the vintages, wine critics agree that the period 2006-2018 was an unbroken series of excellent harvests, with 2010 and 2016 being amongst the best ever.
