Joe Bastianich, a famous TV personality known for being the ruthless judge of MasterChef , comes from an Italian-American family of restaurateurs, always linked to the world of oenology. The passion for wine, together with the desire to find their origins, are the factors that led the Bastianich family to plant the first vineyards in Buttrio and Cividale del Friuli , in one of the most suitable areas in Italy for the production of wines whites.

The particular microclimates present in this area allow the creation of elegant and mineral wines, with great body and structure but also balanced and with a defined personality, capable of transmitting all the essence of the typical terroir of the Colli Orientali del Friuli DOC . Next to the varietal wines of the Orsone line, we find the Cru line, the Vespa, Plus and Calabrone wines, which represent the flagship of this splendid Friulian reality.
