The winery Bertani was founded in 1857 by brothers Giovan Battista and Gaetano Bertani, in Quinto di Valpantena, north of Verona. High professionalism and quality were the traits that immediately set the two brothers apart in the Veronese scene, and in 1923 led them to obtain the symbol of excellence: the royal warrant.

For Bertani, the concept of always remaining true to the company’s most authentic identity represents a core value, reflected in wines such as Valpolicella Ripasso, made from Corvina Veronese, Merlot and Rondinella grapes. Grown in vineyards located on the hills of Valpantena, it is the ideal red to pair with grilled meats, roasts and medium-aged cheeses.
