The Bertani winery was founded in 1857 by the brothers Giovan Battista and Gaetano Bertani in Quinto di Valpantena, north of Verona. High professionalism and quality were the traits that immediately distinguished the two brothers on the Veronese scene, and led them in 1923 to obtain the distinctive symbol of excellence: the royal house patent.

For Bertani, the concept of always remaining consistent with the company's most authentic identity is an essential value, reflected in wines such as Valpolicella Ripasso, made from Corvina Veronese, Merlot and Rondinella grapes. Created in vineyards located in the hills of Valpantena, it is the ideal red to accompany grilled meats, roasts and moderately mature cheeses.
