The name Borgogno has always been linked to one of the oldest and traditionalist wineries in the Langhe and Piedmont and its history began in 1761, when Bartolomeo Borgogno started his own business in Barolo, in the production area of what will become one of the greatest wines in the world. From Piedmont, the history of the company, in the years of the Risorgimento, is linked to that of our country, so much so that in 1861, exactly one century after its foundation, the wine chosen to accompany the celebration of the unification of Italy is precisely the Barolo di Borgogno.
The cellar's banner has always been the praise of thrift in respect of tradition and the environment. Everything in the cellar follows very slow rhythms, to accommodate the flow of nature. Its wines, which recall those of the past, are produced with natural vinifications and sustainable treatments. Wines that remember our fathers.
