Hunt owned by the Berlucchi company from Franciacorta, Caccia al Piano 1868 represents the challenge of the renowned Lombard winery, driven by the desire to produce great international red wines in the prestigious Bolgheri terroir.

Favored by favorable environmental conditions and followed by the well-known oenologist "inventor" of Franciacorta, Franco Ziliani , who took over the reins of the company at the age of 84, Caccia al Piano focuses his attention and his commitment on only two products, Bolgheri " Ruit Hora "and Bolgheri Superiore" Levia Gravia " , awarded respectively with 90 and 91 points out of 99 Luca Maroni and both with the 3 stars of Veronelli: wines of character, full-bodied and elegant that are inspired by the name and style of the works of Giosué Carducci, who spent most of his childhood in Castagneto.
