Viticulture Lunae Bosoni has its roots in the millenary history of its land, a crossroads of destinies and peoples: the name Lvnae is inspired by the name of the city of Luni, an ancient Etruscan and Greek port, consecrated to the goddess Selene by the Greeks (Luna for the Latins). The first colony Luna was founded by the Romans in 177 BC. Today the cellar, with masterful historical memory, inherits and recovers the great winemaking tradition of its Greek, Etruscan and Roman ancestors.

The Colli di Luni area represents the easternmost area of Liguria, between the Gulf of La Spezia and the Apuan Alps. In this extraordinary territory, which enjoys a unique and optimal microclimate for the cultivation of vines, Lunae produces excellent wines, which are born from the desire to enhance the richness of a great terroir.

The first Italian name for the production of excellence based on Vermentino, Lunae has managed to bring out other indigenous Ligurian vines, such as Albarola, Vermentino Nero, Massareto and Pollera Nera, beyond regional and national borders, enhancing an area of absolute prestige and fame . The Lunae wines express the personality and character of the native vines, respecting the terroir and the different cultivated areas. This is the secret of one of the most appreciated and awarded companies at the moment in Italy, whose flagship label, the Colli di Luni "Black Label" , the Tre Bicchieri are reconfirmed year after year by the Gambero Rosso Guide, as well as Colli di Luni Numero Closed, a wine with an elegant, wide and enveloping label, with notes of honey and ripe fruit, awarded with the Vini Buoni d'Italia crown in 2019.
